Such a Multitalent Indeed? The Drummer of Aerosmith John Douglas Shares His Art

Rock and roll fellows, who do not know Aerosmith? This legendary American rock band has a multitalent member within. The drummer, John Douglas, is the one who not only sticks with drumming. Aside from drumming, he also likes to do art in his spare time.

In an interview with River City Live, John Douglas said he loved to remain productive. That is the key for him to be able to fit his time for painting in the middle of a tour. Douglas also said that he usually painted in his hotel room while having a concert tour. He confessed to River City Live that he enjoyed the process.

Thus his work of art will be exhibited at Gallery 7525. The gallery will exhibit the first stop of John Douglas’ “From Stage to Canvas” Art Tour. The gallery proudly showcases his eclectic, and energetic, collection of original works and fine art prints. Many of these artworks are signed by legendary musicians they represent.

This event will be held at Gallery725, Jacksonville’s Premier Fine Art Gallery. Surprisingly, this event is open to the public. Additionally, it provides an opportunity to engage with the artist. The date is on June 14th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., June 15th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and June 16th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
