What if the words fail to speak the soul? The answer is music is there to speak the soul. Through music the students of music study program Universitas Negeri Semarang speak their soul.

Wednesday (5/6) a music event was held in the Faculty of Language and Art UNNES. This event carried the title "When Words Fail, Music Speaks." This event was held in order to examine the bands of music study program's students in the Faculty of Language and Art UNNES.

Located on Gedung B6 UNNES, the open gate started at 9 PM. This particular show ends at 5 PM. The entrance was completely free, and everyone could watch it without any exception.

The Spring Sound Post had a mini talk with Alif Kurnia. He is one of the students that took this examination. In other words, Alif is one of the performers.

"So yesterday it was actually the final project of the Band Course, but it was deliberately staged for the public and of course it was a free event from 8 AM to 6 PM." said Alif to The Spring Sound Post via online chat.

When attending the event, we found something poor. The event was amazing but has some flaws. The audio system is very poor. It made the instruments louder than the voice of the lead vocals. It was sad because it wasted the potential of the lead singer's voice. She had a very good vocal, but the audio system did her dirty. It would be better if the audio system made the singer's voice clearer than the instruments.

Overall, it was an amazing performance. It was such a great experience to see people with passion in music doing performance. The music did speak the soul here.
